Joyousreads – design web header, background and buttons
Joy from Joyousreads has a great blog about (yep you guessed it) reading. She contacted me about wanting to do a minor redesign for the blog (which was in muted grey). I made her a new background, header and some buttons and adviced her what color combinatons to use. The rest was kept the same. The colors and the hint of books in the background gives it a more warm feeling and the lettering in the header is kept simple and hints to old typewriters and printing. The buttons were done in the same style and semi transparent as to make it more one with the blog.
